Abstract

Primary school students are particularly vulnerable in emergency situations such as drowning, poisoning, chemical incidents, and abuse due to their limited awareness and practical experience. Although the 2018 Primary Education Curriculum emphasizes emergencyresponse education through subject teaching and experiential activities, implementation remains inconsistent and ineffective. Posters with concise content, visual appeal, and memorability offer a promising tool for supporting the development of emergency response skills when designed and used appropriately. This study presents the scientific foundations, design process, and illustrative posters targeting 12 common emergency situations, and proposes practical applications in primary school teaching and student education.
