The effects of using presentation activities on developing student’s speaking skills

Abstract
The paper summarizes the use of presentation activities on developing speaking. The author conducted an action research of 15 students who are studying “Family and friends 4” class at Dream Sky English Center as well as attempts to explore students’ attitudes towards the use of presentation activities. The result of the research showed that oral presentations were beneficial to help students enhance their speaking skills in vocabulary, fluency, grammar and pronunciation especially fluency. Findings also revealed that students showed positive in their attitudes about the benefits and highly awarded of the usefulness of oral presentations as a learning activity in improving speaking skills.
