RESEARCH ON DETERMINATION OF DISPLACEMENT OF AUTOMOTIVE TYRES BASED USED ANSYS WORKBENCH

Abstract

This article presents a research on determination of displacement of
automotive tyres based on Finite Elements Method. The deformation grade of
205/55/R16 tire is determined using ANSYS Workbench software under different
pressure levels at static load, to caculate the displacement of automotive tires.
The results show that the displacement of the tire depends on the tire load. This
method helped to determine performance characteristics tires and improved
quality and decreased time to design
