Abstract

The victory of the August Revolution in 1945, culminating in the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945, was the result of a long process of mobilization and preparation by the Indochinese Communist Party and President Hồ Chí Minh. Based on the revolutionary reality and both domestic and international contexts, the Party quickly adjusted its direction and proposed appropriate strategic decisions. This was a key factor leading to the triumph of the August Revolution and the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945.
