Abstract

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is the economic center of Vietnam, adjacent to the sea and a rich system of rivers, so the seaport system is the most developed in the country, with 42 ports and clusters of ports, along 13 kilometers of coastline, has been exploited seaport logistics services, serving the transaction of import and export goods accounting for nearly 60% of the South, Vietnam. Some large ports, which take up the majority of the shipping logistics market share, such as Tan Cang-Cat Lai, Saigon Port, Saigon Central Container Terminal (SPCT), etc. However, in recent years, the situation of port congestion in Vietnam has been increased. Ho Chi Minh City happens often due to infrastructure failure to keep up with development speed, limited port logistics connection, leading to affected seaport service quality indicators. The article focuses on studying the current situation, analyzing the factors affecting the quality of seaport logistics services in Ho Chi Minh City, thereby proposing a strategy to improve the quality of seaport logistics services of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
