FACTORS AFFECTING THE INTENSHIP RESULTS OF STUDENTS AT HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF FOOD INDUSTRY

Abstract

This study aims to clarify the factors that directly and indirectly affect the intenship results of students at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI). Quantitative research was conducted with 250 samples. Data are processed on SPSS v.26 through Cronbach's Alpha test, EFA analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and hypothesis testing by the regression model. The results show that five factors include: University knowledge; Internship tasks at enterprises; Internship conditions; Training regimes of enterprises for interns, remuneration regimes that have an impact on the internship results of students. In which, the factor training regime of enterprises for interns has the strongest impact on the internship results of HUFI students with the regression coefficient β = 0.268 and the Sig value. = 0.000. Some conclusions and management implications are given to help HUFI improves the quality and effectiveness of the business semester in the coming time.
