The current situation of managing cooperative skills education for 5–6-year-old children in preschools in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract
This study surveyed 145 administrators and teachers at five preschools in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City to assess the current situation of managing cooperative skills education for 5–6-year-old children. The findings indicate that management has been implemented across various aspects, reaching from moderate to fairly good levels, with planning and task assignment being most highly evaluated. However, certain areas remain limited, including resource mobilization, communication of plans, staff motivation, and the use of evaluation results to adjust activities. Based on these findings, the study proposes five key measures to improve the quality of managing cooperative skills education, thereby contributing to the sustainable and effective development of children’s cooperative competence
