Abstract

The 2018 General Education Curriculum emphasizes competency-based teaching, with digital competency gaining increasing attention through recent government policies. Integrating digital competency development into subject-specific exercises, particularly in Natural Science, is essential for fostering students' skills. This study categorizes different types of exercises and outlines a structured process for designing activities that enhance digital competency. Expert consultations and teacher feedback inform the proposed framework, which is exemplified through sample exercises for the topic Living Organisms in Grade 8 Natural Science.
