Abstract
This study examines the current training needs of school managers at the provincial and municipal levels through a mixed-methods approach that combines quantitative and qualitative survey data with a comprehensive review of prior research on professional qualifications, managerial competencies, and community engagement of educational leaders in general and school managers in particular. The findings reveal that the most urgent training priorities include strengthening educational management skills and leadership attitudes, especially for school principals, followed by improving proficiency in foreign languages and the application of information technology in school administration.
