STEM EDUCATION ORIENTED TEACHING THE SUBJECT OF TECHNOLOGY GRADE 6

Abstract

In the current context, STEM education is a suitable trend to develop learners' competencies. The Subject of Technology is one of four areas in STEM education that applying the foundational knowledge of basic science subjects to the process of perceiving and solving technical and technological problems. On the basis of the characteristics of STEM education and the Subject of Technology Grade 6, the article builds a process of teaching the Subject of Technology Grade 6 based on the STEM education in high schools. The research results of article are documents for teachers in schools to refer and apply to improve the quality of teaching the Subject of Technology Grade 6 to students.
