In the system of subjects in high schools, History is one of the subjects that has the advantage in creating emotions for students. Using Con Dao prison and Phu Quoc prison to create historical emotions in teaching the topic: August Revolution 1945, National Liberation War and War to defend the Fatherland in Vietnamese History (from August 1945 to present), as well as to form and develop students’ basic abilities and qualities, and at the same time help students deeply perceive national history (LSDT), thereby developing students’ learning ability while fostering love for the homeland, country, pride in national traditions for the younger generation - values that are easily eroded in modern life, is one of the measures to contribute to effectively improving the quality of History education in the current period.
