Industrial Revolution 4.0 with new technologies changes the production platform, generates many new professions, ... affects each individual, enterprise and especially the higher education environment - where directly train human resources for industry 4.0. This requires universities to switch to an innovative university model associated with advanced university governance. The following article aims to clarify advanced university governance activities in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0, thereby making recommendations for Vietnamese universities to renew their organizational structure models to adapt with new circumstances.
