Abstract

Truss structure is one of the most commonly used structural solution for large span structures. In actual construction, truss structures are often manufactured in factories, then transported and installed at construction sites. The manufacturing of truss bars in practice often has deviations within the allowable range compared to the length in design and calculation, which is also allowed in current steel structure acceptance standards. Therefore, in this article, a effective method will be presented to build a solution for the truss structure with inaccurate fabricated member lengths.
